The journey of discovering one’s awesomeness takes a lifetime. But sometimes we’re impatient, or we get lost along the way. Of course, getting lost is perhaps a necessary part of discovery. Even so, we’ve found that discovering awesome is something you do together with others because it is through other peoples’ stories and inspiration that we find out our own story.

This site is a story of a family that’s discovering its awesomeness. There are articles and thoughts, all punctuating our journey to who knows where.

Did I say family? Yes, we’re often thinking about family. The age gap between our middle child and the youngest is 5 years. Although that youngest creature thinks she is much older than she really is, it still creates challenges.

On occasion, we feel out on a limb. Then we meet people with even larger age gaps between their kids and they seem to be doing fine. Maybe we are doing fine too.

Whatever the answer, all our children are beautifully different. Cereberal, adventurous or chaotic seem to be the dominant forces at play. How to keep all these little people happy?

And from these questions, we created a plan. You can read all about it on this site. Don’t for a moment imagine this is easy. It’s taken much family thinking, credo and preparation. And these things form the basis of how this site is organised.
